Manuals are important for both users and sales personnel. Increasingly, it is becoming a vital part of CE and safety compliance. Manual writing is generally outside the design contract and often the Client Company has resources to produce it. Whether you need us to complete the manual or just to assist your authors, we have experience of both.
This is a step that may be inherent in the design process, depending on who generated the original concept. In many cases the marketing department has a primary role in the product definition and the performance criteria.
Larger companies may require sales training to pass the technical prowess and key benefits of the product to sales staff. Training is focused on shortening the learning curve of the sales team and providing them with the confidence to be able to answer their customers' needs and questions.
As the product evolves from the design process there are numerous potential pitfalls that can present themselves. Many of these can be reduced or even eliminated by liaison between the designer and the organisation that will be responsible for producing them. This ensures that the units at the end of production will be reliable and repeatable in terms of performance.
